Our gift to you is a
take-away wish list
for the writer in your life.

Like his favorite author, Chris Bauer started writing as an unemployed oil company executive. He has thirty-four paid fiction publishing credits, and in the last year, has built an ongoing relationship with Untreed Reads: Killer of a Deal, Special Charter, Harrigan's Price, The Winter of Her Discontent and Fresh Never Frozen. He is currently working on a novel set in St. Louis, Blood Lust.

Jeffrey Howe lives and works in the scenic Black Creek Bottoms area of St. Louis County, Missouri, where he writes things that would have made his grandmother blush. His short fiction appears in Untreed Reads, flashquake.org and The Shine Journal. He ruminates at his blog, Merciless Idioms, when he thinks to.

Gail Marshall writes poetry and has finished her first draft of a novel, Ancient Airs and Dances. A member of the St. Louis Writers Guild, the St. Louis Poetry Center, the Rossmoor Poetry Circle, and the “Looselies,” a feminist poetry collaborative. Her poetry has been published in The Scribbler.

John Newmark has been performing his poetry in the St. Louis area since 1993. His poems appear in Newspoetry, EOTU, New Verse News, The Landing, and Scared Naked Magazine. He spent several years working in information technology, but is now a grant writer at a local not-for-profit. He is happily engaged to fellow poet, Jenifer Wallace, and shares custody of a cat named Schrödinger.

Matt Quinn is a professional genealogist, freelance writer & editor, and amateur photographer. He has had poems published in Strong Verse, New Verse News, and Friends Journal. His work can be found at: http://poemblaze.wordpress.com and
http://poemblaze.blogspot.com.

Jeffrey Ricker is a writer, editor, and graphic designer. His writing has appeared in the literary magazine Collective Fallout, the anthologies Paws and Reflect, Fool for Love: New Gay Fiction, Blood Sacraments, Men of the Mean Streets, Speaking Out, and others. His first novel, Detours, was published by Bold Strokes Books. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Journalism, he is working on his second novel. Keep up with his work at www.jeffrey-ricker.com.

Jenifer Wallace lives in St. Louis with her poet fiancé, John Newmark, and a black cat named Schrödinger. Her work appears both online and in print. She counts Fried Chicken and Coffee, Asinine Poetry, and Strong Verse among her credits.
